Alec Hennings is a musician and educator in the Des Moines area. A graduate of the The School for Music Vocations (SMV) through Southwestern Community College (SWCC), Alec was on the President’s Honors List and studied under the tutelage of Professor Tobi Crawford. In 2024, his vocal jazz group Audio Radiance won the DownBeat Magazine award for Community College Outstanding Performances. An active music producer, he recently recorded and produced the single “Keep My Heart Safe” by Mia Prosperi, and recorded his first album “Cosmic Sands” at the age of 17 under the moniker Know Agenda. He works across genres, including jazz, funk, rock, pop, country, and R&B and enjoys collaborating with musicians, teaching lessons, piano tuning, and recording music. In his free time, he enjoys going to local movie theatres with his mom.
