I teach both upright and electric bass, and I am comfortable teaching and performing lessons that include pop, rock, funk, jazz, latin and classical. I am at ease with teaching technique such as slap bass, finger style or walking bass. I work well in all generes and will help students to be proficient and prepared for any style they would want to play.
I am an expirienced classical and jazz pianist. I enjoy working with students on jazz styles such as improvising, jazz chords and voicings as well as how to play in different styles such as swing, bossa nova, and pop.
